Grist. This is the collective name for the dry, milled ingredients assembled for the mash, ie mated barley, wheat malt, maize etc.
Hops. A green flower grown on "Bines" with a high oil content, dried and used in the brewing process to impart a bitter flavour and a beers aroma.
